Kristi walks in, intending on giving Teshigawara-sensei a promotion, and sees TotakekeMelee dancing with a skeleton. "Ohhkay, creepy much?" She asks the walls. Then she pulls out a mop with a smiley-face bucket for a head and joins the dance.

Luckily, the lit teacher is out with the flu, so the regularly scheduled pop-quiz had to be canceled. The note she left says to discuss the assigned reading instead, but no one seems to be willing to start the discussion.

Miscellanious Notes: Suguru Teshigawara is happily stolen from GTO [Great Teacher Onizuka], with a modified history. At SHA, he is a lazy, unmotivated, incompetent subsitute teacher, but he's all Kristi has. The rest of the staff quit due to injury. He grew up trying to follow in the footsteps of his successful older brother and father, the latter of whom is a high-ranking Parliament minister. He dresses very neatly and even wears a white velvet glove - his symbol of perfection. His mental instability and fanatically perfectionist behavior arose from the pressures placed on him by his father, who expected him to live up to his brother's high standards.

Math is the only subject Teshigawara is even remotely competent in, so you all completely ignore his lecture. It's not like you'll have to turn in your papers anyway; he's only a sub.
